We transformed an old warehouse on Gilbert Avenue in the Walnut Hills neighborhood of Cincinnati into a coffee shop and pub. Coffee, tacos, and beer are served in this re-mix of historic and mid-century fixtures and furnishings. The original pressed metal ceiling and exposed brick walls were retained. Old fireplace mantels were cleaned up and reinstalled. Chevrolet and Ford pick-up truck tailgates form the bar. And a cooler was installed for the beer - of course!
Ilene Ross wrote in City Beat, "If you’re looking for a neighborhood hangout that reminds you of someone’s sleek yet super-comfy basement where you can meet your friends and enjoy a cup of great coffee, Angst is going to be your new favorite spot."
We loved working on this project - it's great to have places we can walk to in our Cincinnati neighborhoods.
